Deemed "Disney without the saccharine", this resort (connected by a causeway to its sister, Swan) is a "respite from all the kiddie stuff" yet still a "family-friendly" spot within an easy "boat ride or walk" to "all the parks"; the "superb location" is matched by "dining choices for everyone" (Todd English's "bluezoo is fantastic"), while "rooms are modern" with "amazing beds"; even if dissers dub it either "depressing" or "tacky" ("you're fine as long as you can't see the decor"), the crowds of "conventioneers" don't seem to mind.

It was very close to Epcot and the Boardwalk if you are looking for nightlife.

The rooms smelled like mildew and they are very small for the money you pay for it.

So close to the Disney Parks.

Nothing.

We had a great time, easy to get to the parks, although we only stayed one night, we never took the car anywhere, used the buses and boat to the theme parks.

Hotel decor and location.

Hotel construction in selected rooms - unacceptable amount of NOISE!

Everything was great about this hotel except for the fact that there was planned construction on the room above and the hotel staff did not offer the courtesy of letting us know in advanced. Views from room were beautiful.

Room smelled musty.

This was my first time at the Disney Dolphin Resort. It was the finest hotel I have been in so far. The lobby is grand and the view from the room was excellent.

The $10 a day resort fee included internet and 2 bottled waters a day (along with phone use). Self parking is an additional $9 per day unlimited. There is a wide selection of dining within the two hotels (Swan and Dolphin) and the Disney transportation will take you to any on Disney property.
